Rugged explorers and survivalists, rangers tend to feel most at home when surrounded by the untamed wilderness or forgotten ruins. They specialize in bushcraft and tracking, and tend to be the more capable fighters among their Adventurer Guild peers (though still will not compare with the Warrior Guild) in order to survive in the dangerous places of the world, often being employed as scouts in times of conflict. (Note: The term "Ranger" originates from their expertise in ranging about the wilderness, not with ranged weapons.)
