You can use the travel command to automatically follow a wilderness road, and may use the stop command to stop auto-traveling at any time.

It is possible to queue your travel within a single command. For example, there are two ways to travel to Tarueka from the wilderness just north of Shadgard.

  • You can travel north, wait to reach the first fork in the road, and then travel northeast from there.
  • Alternatively, you can travel north northeast in one command. That will start you traveling north on the road then take the first available northeast fork. In this case you will stop automatically at a weatherbeaten sign, a useful landmark that can provide further directions to Tarueka and other locations as well.
  • You can even use travel waypoints to create your own spots to automatically stop on the road, much like a fork. Type the command on its own for more information.

As you travel you will consume nutrition so it is essential to bring some travel food with you if you plan to venture beyond Shadgard -- the bakery in town has much better options than the soul-crushing blandness of hardtack biscuits.
