Roderick

Roderick was the King of Lapis when the Plague struck the Great Kingdom of Aetgard. He is known for both his ruthless practicality in sealing off his kingdom and exiling any showing even the slightest signs of any illness during the Plague, as well as his integrity when he exiled himself after showing signs of illness in order to enforce his own strict rules. He was succeeded by his son, Prince Vaughn.

It is due in large part to Roderick's strict and merciless policies during the Plague that Lapis survived the Plague somewhat intact, being the only significant remnant of the Great Kingdom of Aetgard in the present day. Many of his policies continue to be enforced in the present day.
