Fracture wounds are caused by a significantly powerful blow dealing puncture damage, hack damage, bludgeon damage, or crush damage from any source. They can be seen in the regular output of a character's health and wounds, such as the health command or when looking at another character. They may cause penalties to various actions such as climbing, swimming, wielding tools or weapons, combat actions, crafting activities, etc.

Treatment

Physickers with the Medical Splint ability may splint fractures, which will cause them to heal over time.

Fractures are not treated by NPC healers. This is to help keep PC healers relevant despite the presence of automated NPCs.
