Shield Bash

Shield Bash is an ability that can be learned by characters.

• IC description: Shields can serve as more than a defensive tool. For instance - smashing your foe with the rim of the shield can be an effective way to stagger them with the weight of the shield, even on strikes that aren't particularly damaging.
• OOC description: (While holding a shield, bash an opponent to do some damage and possibly stagger them.)

  • Melee Combat: 100%

  • Melee Combat: 100% or Ranged Combat: 85% (best of)

  • Strength: +25%
• Attribute bonuses to defense:
  • Strength: +25%
  • Agility: +50%
• Prerequisite Abilities:
  • Tactics: Guardian -OR- Tactics: Berserker -OR- Tactics: Marauder
