Fist Weapon Mastery

Fist Weapon Mastery is an ability that can be learned by characters.

  • IC description: Nightblades can often find themselves in very close-quarters combat, and as a result an advanced technique for wielding fist weapons such as knuckle-dusters and spike-knuckles and the like is a common part of their training regime. While not able to match up to larger weapons on their own, a fist weapon in each hand can be quite effective, especially when accompanied by a burst of channeled nether when the hands are so close to the target upon striking.
  • OOC description: (The ability to make two strikes per attack when wielding a fist-class weapon in each hand (this includes empty hands for unarmed punches). The second strike's damage factor is reduced by 20%. When channeling sorcery, fist weapon strikes will be accompanied by a small burst of nether damage. The ability to get the second strike only applies so long as the requirements for Tactics: Nightblade are met. Holding a non-fist weapon in either hand will prevent eligibility for a followup fist-weapon strike.)
