I got distracted from Octum stuff long enough to write a preparatory blurb about the Wyrvardn. You can click here to view it on the wiki or type HELP WYRVARDN in-game.

No, Societies aren't set up yet, but I'm having difficulty containing my excitement for them. I just wanted to get a little more info out there about the Wyrvardn, the IC info parts of which players can assume their characters have heard or read about ICly at some point.

One of the reasons I was excited to get this info out there was to share the quotes that have been added to the Five Tenets in order to help clarify what they mean a little. There was some confusion over their vagueness in the past.

Tenacity: It's not about always coming out on top and winning, it's about accepting defeats, learning from them, and having the will to continue on with the cause despite failure.
Prowess: It's not about being the very best warrior and enjoying superiority over others, it's about finding one's talents and being an effective credit to the cause in whatever way one can, be that combat or something else like healing or crafting and so on.
Strength: It's not about being physically stronger and tougher than everyone else, it's about maintaining the physical and mental capacity to support the cause in one's own way (whether that be as a warrior or some other means) and the strength of character to support not only the cause, but the people in it when they need someone to help them through hard times. Trying to protect people and maintain their safety in the Lost Lands is a daunting and seemingly-impossible task.
Honor: It's not about seeking one's own honor and recognition for noble deeds, but acting honorably and respectfully toward one's fellow man and thus trying to spread that basic concept that can go a long way to achieving peace. (On the other hand, the definition of "honor" can still be vague, but I think that's okay. The original quote for this one was essentially a version of "if you need a definition, you don't have it.")
Courage: It's not about ignoring or not feeling fear, it's about continuing on with the cause despite it, and recognizing that that fear can be a facet of one's dedication to a cause and the worry over failing that - which can in turn be channeled into determination.
