The following basic crafting recipes are now automatically available without needing to learn the recipe: ingot, medium blocks (stone), small blocks (stone), block (wood), tempered clay, cloth, medium lithic chunks, small lithic chunks, lithic shards.

This should prevent people from getting trapped by spending all their recipe points and not taking the one required to make the base components for their craft that in turn gets crafted into more complex items.

Anyone who learned any of the above recipes previously will automatically be refunded their recipe points on their next login.

The recipe system is kind of finicky, so if anyone experiences any bugs with crafting the above items, please report it in-game via the BUG command or mention it here in this thread. Happy crafting!

With the overhaul on recipe points, it may make sense to move the component recipes back into the "learn it when you learn the base skill" group. For reference, with no crafting skills, I have the following recipes:

The campfire and basic cooking are great for everyone, but the forging, knapping, pottery, stonework, weaving, and woodworking component recipes can probably just get lumped back in with the rest.
