On emotes and the occult

Discussion about the occult and arcana in general. (Don't call it "magic" if you want to be taken seriously by scholars.)

On emotes and the occult

Post by Rias » Tue Sep 17, 2019 9:04 am

We have a lot of creative people playing and excited to dive into the the magic stuff, which is awesome! Just know that for better or worse, there are lore reasons why occult powers work precisely as described in the manual, so to speak, so please refrain from emotes that imply powers or effects a character has not acquired via game mechanics. P.S. Some embellishment and flair on existing abilities is fine!
An assistant introduces a lanky brooding-eyed woman with tan skin to you as Karen and assigns you to treat her wounds.
>tend karen
You try to tend to Karen, but she is too hysterical to accept treatment!
