Per the changelog: Bison can now be found wandering in the Bluestem Plains area. This is an OOC update (rather than some kind of IC new happening) and it should be assumed there were always bison (and other wildlife) wandering about the plains.

It should be noted that these are not meant to be efficient combat practice fodder! The bison is a huge and terrifying beast that should not be trifled with lightly. If anything, they're probably a big part of the reason the Bluestem Plains isn't more overrun with baddies.

Will these have any impact on snare traps in the plains? I realize that bison are herbivores, but not sure how prey animals would react to such large critters--or how they do or did in real-life.
