Suggestions for Fauna around the Mistral Lake Environs

Post by Dennis »

It would be nice if we had more variety of animals local to Mistral to hunt for. It doesn't seem like we have a native large pelt prey around town, or I haven't stumbled upon it yet. This means it's harder to get sinew or large pelts without going far away from the central lands.

Such animals could include:
Large Pelts: Moose, Reindeer, and Caribou in forests

For medium sized critters, I feel as though koalites are a great boon. Of course we also have peccary, but seeing more medium sized fauna could include:
lynx, wolverine, porcupine, beaver, tahr, armadillo.

It would also be nice if we had more local small game in addition to peccary, such as:
Pine Marten, Lemmings, and Voles
Some bird options - as we don't have easy access to ravens - such as snowy owls, wood grouse, and turkeys would be good to add as well.

It would be nice if we had more fantastic creatures, perhaps in another hunting grounds. The koalites are great to have in both lesser and greater variety; some love for scaled friends in the region would be nice. Whereas there are ice-wyrm drakes to near Shadgard, a lakeshore-dwelling or ground drake would be a great local alternative.
