Of Geometric Shapes and Lesser Glyphs

Post by Guillaumo »

Typical Gmo. disclaimer: I don't know a lot about the theme yet or the lore, or how to RP this yet. But I'm working on it.

Purpose:
The entire purpose of this would be explore how to do more with the Effect Glyphs (such as DORUN). This would be by exploring how to apply more than one effect to an individual at a time, or, how to apply an effect to multiple people at once, or, how to improve the effect of a single glyph.

Legend:

Glyphs:
a = Activator Glyph (this thought experiment its always Beldi)
e = Effect Glyph(s)
m = Lesser Glyph, also referred to as a modifier glyph. Used to apply a modification to the effect Glyph, such as extending duration.
n = Energy Glyph. Some Geometric Shapes can be large and will require sinks of additional energy to activate properly.
r = Recipient Glyph. Similar to an Activator in that the Effect will channel through it, but, will not activate when stood upon.

Shapes:
L = Line
T = Triangle
D = Diamond
P = Pentagram
H = Hexagram

Bases:
SC = Small Circle
LC = Large Circle
SS = Small Square
LS = Large Square

The following are not drawn to scale, and not all lines connect exactly as they should.

[A scroll titled: Small Circle Known with a number 4 next to it.
It depicts a small circle bisected by a line. A lower-case e scribed to the top, and a lower-case a scribed to the bottom.]

Image
[A scroll titled: Small Circle Theory with a number 6 next to it.
It depicts a small circle bisected by a triangle with its tip facing north. A lower-case e scribed inside of the triangle. Flanking the triangle on both sides are lower-case m's. A lower-case a scribed to the bottom half of the circle.]

Image
[A scroll titled: Small Circle Double Triangle with a number 9 next to it.
It depicts a small circle bisected by two triangles with their tips facing apart. This is distinctly not a diamond, due to the line that is created where the bases of the two triangles touch. A lower-case e is scribed inside of the top triangle, while the bottom contains a lower-case a. Flanking the both triangle on both sides are lower-case m's (4 in total).]

Image
[A scroll titled: Small Square with a number 5 next to it.
It depicts a small square bisected by a triangle with its tip facing up. A lower-case a is scribed inside of the triangle. Two lower-case e's flank the triangle.]

Image
[A scroll titled: Small Square - Diamond with a number 7 next to it.
It depicts a small square containing a diamond touching all four sides with its points. A lower-case a is scribed inside of the diamond. Two lower-case e's flank the diamond's top point, while two lower-case m's flank the bottom point.]

Image
[A scroll titled: Large Square with a number 22 next to it.
It depicts a large square containing a diamond touching all four sides with its points with itself containing a small circle. A lower-case a is scribed inside of the diamond's small circle. The space between the circle and the sides of the diamond are blank. Each triangler corner of the square, created by the diamond, contains a Small Square (4 in total) inscribed with a lower-case e. The space beside each e in marked with a lower-case m (12 in total)]
