As someone with a character getting an increasingly higher acrobatics skill. I find my desire to take my chances with an acrobatic roll more and more tempting. Sure climbing down certain declines isn't all that energy or Roundtime intensive but, a chance to bypass that entirely? I'd find it pretty fun to be able to gamble on my acrobatics for even less energy and roundtime!
It would also be a rather awesome risk option if you're being chased by someone or something. It could get you valuable distance at the risk of spraining an ankle or worse. Though unlike climb skill telling you how dangerous/easy climbing down something may be. It may be better to insinuate how 'far' it is for risk. Description wise it would give an idea of the energy cost for climbing and how unwise choosing to jump may be.
