There is much lore stating that Iarel is heavily involved with the creation of mankind, though I am unsure how all the cultures view this idea. I do know that the Constantians and therefore Viali in particular view Iarel as their creator. She is not said to have any thaumaturgic ability or connection however; on her page where her being a patron of healers is mentioned, it is specified that this is in regard to conventional healers and not thaumaturgic ones. This leaves me curious as to whether there are any beliefs or theories touching on this situation. I find it intriguing to see Iarel being the only Immortal mentioned as a creator of mankind, yet having no connection to the Inner Light, which is often proclaimed to be an innate human trait.

My curiosity has been thoroughly piqued and I would like to know if there is any existing lore to be discovered or given before I begin spinning too many of my own wild theories. I have exhaustively studied objects and questioned NPCs but would be happy to continue searching if I have perhaps missed anything on the subject that is already available in-game.
