Voluntary Skill Reduction

I was contemplating looting and mixes of groups levels and was pondering for characters that are over leveled for certain areas being able to skill match mobs for more mixed group combat by matching the mobs in the area or something skill wise. Not an automatic thing, but a setting to I guess match the caps of the area or if sparring, the individual character. Given changes to dodge training it could make skill switches less excruciating if they are changing up skills but at 700 melee to temporarily be 300 etc. They would obviously have access to more combat skills but won't crush roll wise. Thoughts?

+1 this one. I've nothing really to add though but the idea would make things interesting in a group environment.
