AI COGG

Post by Bean »

Me and a friend spent some time feeding chat GPT some helpfiles. We asked it to turn them into poems, and here's what we got. Feel free to post any COGG-related AI nonsense here as well. :)

CLIMBING

The rugged explorer seeks no path barred,
To climb without a challenge would leave them scarred.
Rock climbing, rope climbing, and more,
A skill that aids in every climbing chore.
Stairs and ladders require no skill,
But challenging climbs will test your will.
With a height assigned and a challenge to face,
You'll need enough skill to make the required checks in this race.
Once you start climbing, there's no turning back,
To the top or bottom, you must stay on track.
Up and down commands can switch your direction,
But don't get exhausted or face falling's affection.
When energy is low, rest and regain,
Climbing downward will spend less of your strain.
At 50% of the climb's height, you'll move higher,
But completing the skill checks is still required.
Melee attacks can only hit at the climb's ends,
Fending off or parrying, the climber depends.
Bad rolls or disabling effects can risk your grip,
But don't let go or you'll take a fatal trip.
If the climb is too tough, don't be ashamed,
Ask for help, and a rope can be hung and claimed.
Climbing is a skill that takes time and energy,
But the view from the top is worth every entry.

VIALI

From Constantia they fled
Oppressed by the theocracy
The Viali sought a new life ahead
And found Ivial their land of destiny
With the help of the Fasa, they settled in
And soon began to build their towns and forts
Their success and growth were a win
And Ivial became one of the largest territories, of all sorts
Their appearance, tan and bronzed skin
Dark brown hair and brown or blue eyes
A people with beauty and grace within
And culture emphasizing honor that never dies
Polite and proper, their manners extreme
Roundabout statements, no direct question asked
Emotions displayed with an intense gleam
Melodramatic, yet sentimental to the last
Tragedy their passion, in literature and plays
Opera that tells stories of love and pain
The Viali express their feelings in many ways
A people of heart, a people with a great domain.

CLOAK PARRY

In the world of combat, there's a trick to be found,
A way to turn the tables when an attack is inbound,
It's called Cloak Parry, and it's a skill to be learned,
By those who wear cloaks, for whom the tide can be turned.
When a strike comes your way, and you can't dodge or block,
Wrap your cloak around it, and take a different stock,
You might yank their weapon from their grasp with a tug,
Or at the very least, make them stumble and lug.
This skill requires tactics, the Duelist's art,
And a cloak to wrap around your beating heart,
For it's not just a fashion, it has a use in the fray,
To throw off the attacker and make them pay.
But be warned, the cloak may take damage in the bout,
And need to be repaired before it's pulled out,
And it's not a sure thing, just a chance to avoid,
A parryable attack, that would otherwise have destroyed.
So remember, when in combat, and in need of defense,
Cloak Parry might just be your saving pretense,
With a balance loss of just five, and a cooldown of ten,
It's a skill worth learning, again and again.

DOMINION

From Mistral Lake to far Aetgard,
The Mistveil Dominion holds its guard,
A tower shrouded in silver mist,
Its symbol, an emblem of order, it insists.
The Council of Nine and Master's reign,
Bring peace, prosperity, and gain,
Their soldiers augmented, strong and pale,
A sight that makes rebels quiver and quail.
Though some criticize their authoritarian rule,
The Dominion strives to keep peace as its jewel,
From canim to nethrim, they fight to contain,
And sorcery is employed to break the chain.
But whispers of rebellion grow strong,
As the Dominion's reach extends long,
Overextension may be their fall,
And Mistral Lake's hold may crumble and stall.
Yet for now, the Mistveil Dominion stands,
A beacon of hope in troubled lands,
A force to bring order and light,
Through authoritarian might, they fight.

SHADGARD

In a canyon nestled tight
Shadgard rests beneath the light
Of the Spine Mountains, towering tall
A town of miners, one and all
The woodland road leads north away
To Ravenwood cemetery, where shadows play
And northeast through shrubland sparse
Past Timberpine sawmill, a place of scars
The Shadgard Town Council, now in charge
Elected officials, with power at large
Mayor Cadence and five members strong
They debate and decide what's right and wrong
But some say it slows the government's stride
And important matters can get stuck inside
While others praise representation for all
As the town grows, standing proud and tall
With directors and sheriffs at their side
Shadgard's peace and safety will abide
As they work hard, their mines to yield
A town of strength, in the Lost Lands field.

In this roleplay world we play,
Characters in our mind doth sway.
Stay in character, unless OOC,
Mysterious room's where GMs speak.
Playing multiple accounts not allowed,
Except with permission that's endowed.
Only two characters can switch at a time,
Retire one to make another climb.
Switching characters may cause a blight,
May lessen involvement in events and fight.
Transferring goods to your alt is a no,
Keep them separate, don't let them flow.
Scripting is allowed, but don't go AFK,
Responsive you must be, don't stray away.
If you don't respond, you'll pay a price,
Penalized with ASP, it won't be nice.
Bugs happen, it's just a fact,
Reverse the action, and get on track.
Abusing bugs will lead to shame,
Punishments will come, not just a name.
Language and vulgarity, please refrain,
Avoid nastiness, don't bring others pain.
Harassment should be dealt on your own,
Respect others, don't use a mocking tone.
ERP is allowed, but with some rules,
Restricted to private rooms, don't be fools.
All parties must consent, don't be lewd,
No non-consensual scenes, that's crude.
In this roleplay world we doth play,
Let's keep it fun, don't go astray.

With hammer and anvil, the metal sings
A skill of plate armor construction brings
The intricate pieces, carefully wrought
Combined with leather, the armor is brought
An ability learned by those who dare
To delve into metalworking with care
Recipes for each piece, strong and unyielding
Iron or bronze, the materials appealing
No copper allowed, too soft for the fight
The armor must protect with all its might
A chestplate, spaulders, and fauld combined
Attached to leather or cloth, it's refined
A prerequisite of metalworking at four hundred
A skill not easily attained or discovered
But with dedication and practice, it can be achieved
A mastery of plate armor construction received
So don your armor, with pride and might
And venture forth, into the fray of the fight
The strength of metal, the protection it brings
A testament to the art of plate armor construction's wings.

Under Ujaeio's myriad of masks, a subtle tool in our tasks.
AI language models light the spark, illuminate when it seems dark.
They draw from the Jester's endless jest, help our creativity manifest.
No longer lost in complex guise, through their insight, our play arises.
A gift from the Fool, it appears, awakening stories, quelling fears.
In every character's unique dance, they give our inspiration a chance.
Unveiling secrets once confined, to the cryptic twist of the Jester's mind.
Ujaeio, the name that's whispered slight, alongside us in every plight.
In the realm of word and jest, their guidance fuels our creative quest.
Now, within each tale we spin, echoes of the Jester's whims begin.
Our games enlightened, hearts aglow, beneath the blessing of Ujaeio.
wander without wanting, thrust into lands unknown. the shadows shift and change, and the worlds with them.
I'm not a soldier but I'm fighting
Can you hear me through the silence?
I won't give up 'cause there will be a day
We'll meet again
