kindling, campfires and axes, wait. why axes? I can break a branch without one. or i should

Hello, why would we need to buy an axe just to make kindling?
Can't we just use a knife to chop a small branch or just type break small branch to make the kindling? buying an 800 riln axe just for a campfire seems... too much.
If i'm missing another chopping tool, sorry!

Huh. I could have sworn the BREAK command worked to do just this, but I just tried it and it didn't work. I'm probably mixing up with memories of "the other game".

P.S. Breaking branches into kindling by hand only works on small branches. Large and medium ones still need an axe or hatchet to chop them down to small ones that can then be chopped/broken into kindling.
