Group movement messaging more informative

Post by Rias »

Group movement messaging used to simply say "A group of 3 followed" or "You were followed by 3 group members." This was nice and concise, but a tad too vague since it wasn't clear what kinds of characters or creatures these followers were. People leading their horses around would often initially be confused for one person leading another person around. Is that group leader leading other people around, a horse, a badger, a wraith, a dragon, a varietous legion of shambling undead ... ?

So, group movement messaging has been given an update to include the nouns of followers. Using full names would be incredibly spammy, but keeping it to nouns seems like a good compromise where one has a better idea of the group that's following while not being overly verbose or taking up too much space.

Example:
Rias heads east.
1 woman, 2 men, 1 warhorse, 2 people, 1 figure, and 2 chargers follow.
In the above example, the "people" are androgynous characters, the "figure" is a heavily-disguised character, and the "chargers" are the type of horse. I figure groups won't often be so varied, but even in the above example it seems concise enough to be informative while not being an overly-wordy nuisance.
