Voicechat notes 28 May 2021

Post by nobody »

Below are my notes from the voice chat today. I had some internet trouble toward the end and didn't catch probably the last two or three topics, so please chime in if you can.

- Combat for non-warriors: first big step was to make feint and circle better for ranged users, and warlock's familiar having a combat feature. Additional ideas for how to help non-warriors with
combat are welcome.
- Rogue/adventurer types, would like a feature to shift damage away from vitals to limbs
- Plans for areas with not a long going no yet: Yes, there are plans (mostly not specific, but places will get filled out more).
- Arcanist ideas: greater partitioning of circles and maybe enchantment - they're further from the chopping block (yay!)
- Occult and bad stuff happening: it is planned, not yet implemented (be afraid!)
- Harbingers: multiple darker immortals, should have more flavorful stuff (think like the cultist abilities already in game)
- Wanting to have some way to lean toward a given immortal within the group of several with a way to check and get a feel
- Any lore stuff that is in want of filling in: culture pages
- Any societies in the lost lands should be assumed to be cut off from similar societies outside the quarantine
- Bushcraft healers: need to expand the capabilities of physickers (enhansers, poisons, etc) before unlocking basic healing for everyone
- Stealth, risk, and combat: going to stay as is for now, be prepared to change tactics or flee as needed
- Hurled weapons still need damage re-alignment (enjoy that high damage while it lasts!)
- Timeline for not-Shadgard and conflict site/capture point stuff: Soon(TM)! Not-Shadgard is being actively worked on, capturables haven't been touched in a bit
- Merchant is partially ready, they'll be coming with some goods from Dominion lands
- Long-standing festivals: like the idea, not certain on commitment yet (when game involvement is more RP and less dev, probably?)
- Town-steam crusher event: it's cool, went by really quickly, not a lot of opportunities for involvement from everyone
- Event suggestions: exploration type of events can gather more people
- want to make it feel like things are happening, get people talking about what is going on
- Factions are also seeing periodic work
