Privacy policy update - hashed IP addresses

IP addresses are now stored in a hashed format. Huzzah for privacy! As such, the privacy policy has been updated.

Previous privacy policy regarding IP addresses (boo):
User IP addresses are logged to help connect alts for alt restrictions, as well as to help identify spambots, trolls, and other disruptive users who may try to simply switch to a new character after being punished or banned. I will not, however, look at/up IP addresses without good reason. Yes, "without good reason" is vague. Sorry.
New privacy policy regarding IP addresses (yay):
User IP addresses are logged in a hashed format to help connect alts for alt restrictions, as well as to help identify spambots, trolls, and other disruptive users who may try to simply switch to a new character after being punished or banned. As the addresses are hashed, a user's actual IP address can't be determined unless compared against known hashed addresses (MudConnect's IP address and a list of known spammer addresses, in this case).
What that means is I can't just see players' IP addresses in plaintext anymore. I compare hashed versions of player IP addresses against other hashed IP addresses, like checking a hashed client IP against a list of known spammer IP addresses that have been hashed the same way. That way I don't need to see or store the actual IP address, I just need to know if there's a match or not.
