Glyph-Force

Post by TheCacklackian »

The 'Force' Glyph produces a strong shockwave affecting everyone in the room besides the activator and those in their group.(Note activator does not equate to caster). This shockwave will stagger and (Possibly knock down) those present but will do not damage on it's own. The primary idea is that this glyph would have synergies with various items/skills, for example, if a sorcerer is present, perhaps they can 'infuse' the glyph with nether to produce a nether mist which does damage to exposed body parts to everyone present for a duration. Perhaps if an alchemist is present, they can pour a potion/poison on the glyph which is then aerosolized by the concussive shockwave and turned into a mist that those who are not wearing a mask will breath. Maybe if a blacksmith drops some nails into the glyph, it will launch projectiles in every direction dealing some puncture damage to everyone in the vicinity. If there is a campfire in the area perhaps it launches flaming wood and embers at targets dealing some bludgeon and heat damage.

Arcanists-I was thinking arcanists could have access to a second tier of this glyph which increases its stagger, but also allows the stacking of glyphs onto this ability which will then affect those in the room, this would be able to be applied with positive or negative glyphs, but would require a bigger circle than the starting occult circle to fit extra glyphs beside the force glyph and activator.
