Physicker class description updated, implied ethical constraints removed

Post by Rias »

Per the changelog: Updated the Physicker class description, mostly to include mention of psychology/therapy and to remove the implications of ethical constraints.

(Check out their description by typing HELP PHYSICKER in-game or visiting their wiki page: https://cogg.contrarium.net/wiki/index.php/Physicker)

Physickers take no oath of ethics or behave in any particular way, and the Scholar Guild isn't keeping an eye on their behavior. The old description was from an early Society-like idea for conventional healers that later evolved into the more accessible Physicker class of the Scholar Guild, and I forgot about the implied-ethical-restrictions aspect of their old description until someone brought it up today.

That said, I think It's safe to assume that most people, PCs and NPCs alike, hold Physickers to a higher standard and expect them to take care of their patients rather than perform cruel experiments or malpractice upon those in their care. So if any Physickers out there intend to do squicky nasty creepy things to those in their care, they should at least try to do so in such a way that the info won't get out, as they're still very much susceptible to earning a bad reputation based on their actions.
