Per the changelog: When maintaining more than 1 of a particular type of occult channel (sorcery, druidry, etc), there is now a chance based on the associated skill to bypass the energy cost per additional channel. (The first channel will always have an energy cost that cannot be bypassed.)

So for example, the more Sorcery skill you have, the more likely you are to have your second and/or third channels as freebies with no energy cost for that second. Use those powerful multi-channel casts!

P.S. I realize druidry is currently only single-channel, but I'm sure we can come up with some maintained druidry channel abilities that could be empowered by multiple channels.
