Cooking Recipes!
Cooking Recipes!
With cooking being currently worked on, we would like to gather some player input for what recipes you'd like to see implemented in the game!
Just reply to this post with your ideas and I'll add them to my list to be implemented.

If we ever get player housing, Mistralite houseshares are going to be full of this stuff. "Damnit who let the thousand-year old angry venomous moths out of their velvet pouch again?"

Re: Cooking Recipes!
Do you want general ideas, or full recipes with cooking steps and ingredient lists?
"You hear the Woses, the Wild Men of the Woods... Remnants of an older time they be, living few and secretly, wild and wary as beasts."

Yes.

Re: Cooking Recipes!
A more serious answer though, general ideas will be great, but if you want to list ingredients and steps, that would help me more because I can then just transcribe what I read

Did you know you can grind a huge ton of acorns into flour and make acorn bread?
It's a very time consuming (but tasty) pastime.

Re: Cooking Recipes!
Omg, okay let's see.
I want to be able to make pies. Oh and cupcakes.
that, and normal full sized cakes. all the cakes!!!
Muffins, cookies.
All the food!!!
This topic has me super excited. lol
hot chocolate, coffee, not sure if those would fall under cooking or brewing.
Fruit juices, breads.
all kinds of breads.
Scones!!! Definitely scones.
Okay no I should have not been allowed to see this particular topic.
I can sit here and name general foods all day.
going away now.
Just all the foods!!!

Re: Cooking Recipes!
I've got the basics of cooking working how I want them, so now I need to start tossing more recipes in there. Suggestions are welcome - particularly ones that list base ingredients or steps of ingredients!
By steps I mean, for instance: To make a pie, you have to first make a pie crust from ingredients, which is itself in turn an ingredient for a pie.

Pssst. It turns out I'm terrible at coming up with cooking recipes on my own. There are hardly any. Help a guy out with some suggestions! Starting with the simple stuff that new cooks can use to practice up.

Re: Cooking Recipes!
Oh yeah!
Honey Butter Biscuits:
- Butter
- Flour
- Salt
- Honey
- Buttermilk
Since wheat seems to be a summer crop, anything that needs flour we might have to do a substitution on. Could also potentially use corn or nut flour instead if either of those will grow this time of year or are available to forage.
