Pottery durability
Pottery doesn't seem to ever need to be replaced. What with all the bashing, slashing, and stabbing most people do, their clay pots tend to stay in one piece. Smiths only ever need one set of pottery. Probably don't need a way to repair these items, just make it possible for them to eventually break...

Re: Meditation Defense
I have experience with these encounters as well. I've personally been holding off on spending points on meditation just because of how niche the defense actually is. If I understand correctly, the reason for the lackluster defense is due to the nature of the offensive abilities. They are supernatura...

Re: Skill practice in the real world
A looooong time ago, on CLOK, I had a character that was pretty skilled with picking locks. It served as inspiration to get into the hobby in IRL. I can't say I'm a professional or anything. However, I can pick deadbolts and other everyday normal locks pretty easily, and without raking. Something I'...

Re: Skill practice and challenge
Debuffs on your characters won't work to your advantage according to the first post. If this mechanic holds true for NPCs, debuffing them might work. Though, like you said that seems pretty janky. To Lex's comment, that's great you had those self-imposed restrictions. Majority of players did not tho...

Re: Skill practice and challenge
It's a welcome change. I definitely did use the ravens to train up my dodge skill, mainly because I don't know anyone who likes to grind for hours and hours. I already did who knows how many hours, days, and weeks of it back on CLOK. Still, those skill points did feel empty, like I didn't earn them....

Re: Church of Light Steps Out of Shadows
Alright, thanks for clarifying. I like the idea of the templar of course. Being able to draw upon their compassion to defend those around them is always really cool. Personally, I like the idea of those who embrace their more "tactical" sides. Things like utilizing flame traps, netherbane,...

Re: Church of Light Steps Out of Shadows
What can you tell us about their views on the Khesem Nefar? This group is pretty new, unless I missed a big lore drop over the past months. (Not unlikely) Anyway, would prospective members find a home in their ranks, or not? I know there was an anti-nethrim group discussed as a society. With all the...

Re: Potential Shadgard Town Meeting for 15 Septum
Guess my willingness to argue the point in this particular instance relies on the fact that this was a public event. Not only that, but a hesitantly planned one. All one needs to do is look at the title to determine that this meeting wasn't set in stone. For a player to choose this as a prime time t...

Re: Potential Shadgard Town Meeting for 15 Septum
I’m pretty much in agreement with Lamia, and here’s why. 1. We're Already Sharing, So Let's Level the Playing Field: Let's face it, when something epic happens in-game, we're buzzing to share it. We all know there's a group chat on Discord or Skype discussing last night's events. If the game doesn't...
