Re: Octum community meeting!
Use the Assembly Hall in the Shadgard Town Hall! That's what it's there for.

Re: Proposal - Consolidation of Lesser-Used/Non-Used Professions Skills
The only thing I'm really stuck on at this point is how to determine quality for the various types of crafts. Higher qualities than average, I mean. If they're all under the same skill it's going to require something additional. The affinity system is a possibility, and I've been working on that. An...

Re: Octum is here - get charmseeking!
The Octum Spirits out on the roads now take a round to become agitated enough to go aggressive. Meaning if you just zip right past them while traveling, you should be fine (unless you're going real slow due to dragging/pulling something with you). Considering they're supposed to be more of a flavor ...

Re: Potential Professionals/Crafters Guild
The biggest issue I had with a crafter guild was that I really didn't know how to break it up into classes or what really it would offer. This post has helped a ton with that, and I think I'm going to run with the general ideas here. Thank you! The crafting guild might actually become a reality now....

Re: Stacked stone
Stacked stone as an alternative to wood for various existing projects is a good idea, and something I've been mulling over for a while. I'd love to expand Construction beyond farms (and carts) at some point, but I'd want to restrict it to certain rooms and scenarios. Allowing the building of some ba...

Re: Fracture wounds
Or go about your business and just be extra careful to keep your penalties in mind? Fractures don't completely prevent anything. It's right there with frostbite: A nuisance, but it doesn't prevent you from doing anything. Also: Poke the Physickers you know to be around more often, or poke your frien...

Re: Fracture wounds
That's the idea behind physicker-treatable conditions that NPCs dont deal with: They're annoying and you're going to want to seek someone out to help with them as soon as possible, but you can still get by in the meantime. They're meant to keep PC healers relevant instead of everyone just going to t...

Physicker ability: Medical Splint
Along with the release of fracture wounds, Physickers have received the new Medical Splint ability in order to treat such wounds. This requires some thread and a longish straight object like a small straight branch, a dowel, a haft, etc. There is a confirmation when using one as a splint as it cause...
