Re: Some warlock QoL+flavor suggestions
It'd have to be a TINY sanity loss - like 0.05 or something with a high chance to resist it. The idea is to highlight that it's scary and otherworldly and thus hopefully not used for something lightly, rather than to mass grief everyone online with a sanity thwack. Definitely should put that well on...

Re: Some warlock QoL+flavor suggestions
I return with more warlock suggestions! This time in the realm of abilities. Phantom Sight IC: Learned during the Dominion's experimentation with sorcery, this augmentation briefly alters the sorcerer's sight by forcing ambient nether to coalesce in their eyes. While causing some minor damage to the...

Re: New Arcanist glyphs: `cosir` (luminous diagram) and `fathys` (warmth diagram)
Any chance of getting an "invert" glyph component that reverses the effect of these two (aka, makes the room darker for cosir, makes the room colder for fathys)?

Re: Corrosive Nether
I don't disagree with the theme of this at all (it makes a lot of sense), but having nonferrous equipment essentially take like 8 hits in an extended PvP engagement before it becomes nonfunctional (or just less functional in general) is a kind of terrifying thing to think about. If you extend this t...

Re: capping off risk accumulation
I think a better solution would be to clear an increasing percentage of risk with each room travelled so long as moving in this way wouldn't ordinarily increase your risk again. Have 100 risk, move to a clear room, lose 30, move to another clear one, lose 18, that kind of thing. Would add an element...

Re: Dying Bundled Items
Leatherworking might be better served by moving the colour component away from dyes and into rare spawns of mobs with unusually coloured pelts/skin, perhaps as a product of ongoing nether corruption or other shenanigans. Would be a nice boost to people who want to hunt for such things, I think. Disc...

Re: Dying Bundled Items
If something like this is done, it should be capped at a maximum bundle weight, and a fairly low one at that. One item or X weight of a bundle. There's not really enough riln sinks in the game as it is and I am a firm believer that expensive dyes are one of the only things really keeping the economy...

Re: Made it, Ma! Top o' the world!
Wow, and a lot of that was presumably during the part of the game where mortals were way more commonplace.
Big achievement, congratulations!

Re: Your initial entry into the Lost Lands
I saw one of Bonehead's posts on /r/MUD about the first Octum festival and figured I'd try it out after he described it as 'gaslamp fantasy'. Needless to say, I became very enamoured with it after realizing that it was essentially a modernized take on the old Play.NET games with a lot of the edges s...
