Hillfolk race article
The Hillfolk now have a helpfile/wiki article! Those who played The Other Game will find the information familiar, but now it's official over here as well.

Re: Draumfeldr, the Cloak of Dreams shrouding Tyr-Gwyrd
With regards to the forgetting - it's just like secrets and details of the land or anything they experience while there? They don't forget everything, but they tend to be hazy on particulars and details. Players can assume anything on the wiki is information someone passing through Draumfeldr could...

Re: Well-known maritime culture locations
Porto D'esilio's definitely a popular subject of shanties these days, being the place where exiles are usually dropped off in the Lost Lands. I'll have to take some time to think up some other area names for you from around the world.
Re: Soap
The Avery Bathhouse is pleased to announce that they've added cedar, pine, and juniper-berry soaps to their stock! Now for the bad news: Their stock of imported lavender is running low, and will eventually no longer be available. If you've got a thing for smelling of lavender, stock up now! ========...

Company founders can now send copies of letters to all members
The founder of a Company can now use the MAIL COMPANY command to send copies of a single-page written document (no multi-page books) to all members of their Company. The cost increases based on the number of members needing copies sent to them. Presumably a scribe is employed to make those copies by...

We've had a good number of new people stopping by, so I'm bumping this both for visibility to the new folks and to see if anyone has any further additions.

New Warlock abilities: Soul Harvest & Shadow Familiar
Warlocks have two new abilities: Soul Harvest and Shadow Familiar . More info can be found via the wiki or helpfiles. Items required are noted in the ability descriptions and can be purchased in the Warlock class shop. Shadow Familiars are not welcome in Shadgard, so warlocks will want to use the FA...

Re: Level pacing, grinding disincentives, and bucket introduction
A lot of this is just concept discussion. Nothing's currently broken and needs an immediate overhaul, but it's fun to think about and theorize. Overhauls aside, I think starter packs and additional tasks for getting past the first level or two with more speed and guidance are good shorter term goals...

Re: Level pacing, grinding disincentives, and bucket introduction
First, just clarifying that a character's Limit Meter would be universal (not per-skill) and would be intended to be similar to the experience bucket concept in in concept and pacing times. I'm mostly trying to just trim out the fat (the extra experience/level layer that could potentially be done wi...

Re: Level pacing, grinding disincentives, and bucket introduction
I was thinking a simpler approach. Rather than a bucket, think of a meter instead. For now I'll call it the uh ... Limit Meter. Not a great name, but works for now. So: Skill practice is immediately applied to your skill. No need to put it in a bucket and wait for it to go from the bucket to your ac...
