Re: Various Quality-of-Life Suggestions

The ability to prepend a short message to a document would be useful. I often forget to declare the date at the beginning of my letters.

Caius, Leiana, Senna, Crispus

I would like to thank the four of you for an enjoyable and worthwhile delay in my plans to rush to Mistral Lake after reading the most recent news. Leiana has a way of bringing out a side of Alexander's personality that he rarely has the confidence to show. Though I have only just met Senna, I alrea...

Re: Shields are the best defense hands down

On a small note with shield bash, I feel like it should endure reroll penalties when one uses the ability. It's a bit jarring evadinga shield block, and attacking right after, only to see they have full rerolls on their defense. This has not been my experience. If I shield bash just before a foe ac...

Re: Shields are the best defense hands down

I use a shield in my everyday combat experience as a warrior of the Guardian class. It is effective, but I am by no means invincible, nor are the mobs I fight that wield shields of their own. Throughout my experience using a round shield while practicing and increasing my combat capabilities against...

Re: Random Encounters!

Tasks to better secure safety on the roads would be very welcome for all the reasons previously stated. I would also suggest some means of increasing the time a patrol's effect lasts. I enjoy the ability to patrol and help my fellows have fewer encounters, though fifteen minutes seems perhaps on the...

Re: Patrolman's Tabards!

This is an excellent addition, and you have my sincerest enthusiasm and gratitude. I am especially grateful that I may at last feel I am having some positive community impact as a warrior by reducing encounters for others who do not wish them. There is something wonderful about passing fellow patrol...

Re: Town militias: Shadgard Coydogs and the Mistwatch

My expectations for these groups did not include any legal authority. I have seen such situations turn sour very quickly and I feel it would risk causing a divide among townsfolk instead of uniting them, splitting citizens into groups of enforcers with authority and civilians who must submit. Perhap...

Town militias: Shadgard Coydogs and the Mistwatch

In times past each town had a branch of the militia that players could join: Shadgard's Coydogs, and Mistral Lake's Mistwatch. I believe seeing these return would present an opportunity for players to feel more invested in their home towns. In our discussion about it on chat it was suggested that th...
