Re: Tasks Affecting the Game World

Going to agree with the concept, and also the addendum of it being purely cosmetic. It's a neat idea, but I'd also rather not see Mistral be punished simply because it doesn't have new players come through who will delve into dealing with tasks. Even in that regard, I've little doubt that some peopl...

Re: Questions While the Roundtable is Away

I was going to start a new topic, but this works as well: Tried using my kobaltarn ingot today to make a shortsword (not the best use for it, but oh well) today, and well. It can't be forged, only cast. Okay, that's not a problem, I have a mold for it. So, lets fire up the furnance and melt it down...

Bugcheck

Can Bugcheck please be noted in the original "bug" command syntax? IE "You can also use bugcheck to look over your currently logged bugs along with edit them in a variety of ways."

I've bugged a few, but any chance staff can look at the outdated rumors?

Re: Potential Fix: Rapier / Longsword / Cutlass

2) Individual weapon parry modifiers are intended, and across the board. This might not necessarily effect longsword vs rapier, but an argument could be made for the former being better at the act than the later. Nope. Rapier is going to be noticeably better at parry than longsword, at the very lea...

Re: Potential Fix: Rapier / Longsword / Cutlass

Probably useful to keep in mind two upcoming mechanics changes that have been discussed previously when comparing any weapons currently. 1) Armor chink is going to be modified. Details on that are yet to be fully disclosed, but some things that have been mentioned is another roll check potentially b...

Re: Tales of Tanglewood

In regards to having a mixture of difficulties when it comes to skill level ranks and such, one of the lower tiers in Tanglewood seems like a missed opportunity. One of the mobs offers no riln reward and just skill/XP without being very difficult for its skill range, while the other is probably a hu...

Re: Various Quality-of-Life Suggestions

Love the fact changing and such gets soap out now if you have it, but any chance we can have "change" when you go back into your normal outfit put soap away?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has gone into battle brandishing a bar of soap. Could start some rumors with that sort of material.

Re: Skill practice and challenge

Didn't re-read the first post, thanks for pointing that out, Navi, so encumbrance shouldn't affect it (whether intentionally or not). Debuffing mobs should not work. If it does, that is a bug. Gains are based on "Base Rolls" and not modified, whether from injury, position, or armor penalt...
