Wanted to add on that material sharpness IS definitely working - a melee attack with my flint javelin only does 76 piercing damage, while a melee attack with my bloodglass javelin does 105. I can't say I agree at all. That sense of distance is something I enjoy about the game and... even then, it really only takes a few minutes to traverse the entire map on foot. I'm afraid I'm not seeing the issue here. I agree with this sentiment, personally. It's a pretty quick trip between the two...

Very much like the idea of a secondary resource to tie in to storytelling. I'd personally have the riln cap for a successful story being lowered overall, but boosted to the current maximums if you have a Musing/resource to expend when you tell that story.
