Re: Various Quality-of-Life Suggestions

Picture frames!

I realized just now how neat it is to be able to hang things on the walls, and I have a few papers I'd love to hang but can't!

Re: Clarity in Combat

Hi there!

I don't know if it's just my client, but I do get brackets around the enemy I'm targeting. I don't get them when they take an action, though, so I see your point!

I don't know that this works for Zak, but I *want* it to so badly.

Re: Weapon Crafting Ideas

For me, I think you'd conceal whatever material you chose to wrap the leather in. So it'd be a red leather-hilted longsword, excluding whatever base material was in the hilt.

If you want to show off your hardwood, or your metal, hilt, just leave it unwrapped.

Weapon Crafting Ideas

Hi guys! I've been thinking about how to add diversity to weapons. A few ideas occurred to me. The first is near and dear to my heart, a new single-handed weapon: I propose the spada, or sidesword, depending on its name. This is a heavier version of the rapier, more suitable for real cut-and-slash c...

Re: The Artisan Guild (and other profession thoughts)

What I like about this is that a lot of it, maybe not all of it, seems like it could be implemented very quickly.

The caravans (I've played other games with a caravan system, and they're great fun) are probably the hardest thing to implement, but also the most unique feature.

Re: Non-warrior VS Warrior Feedback

^^ All of these would be very cool and would tempt me into making a crafter. I especially love the idea of tasks that get progressively harder, with progressively cooler results (like eventually forging weapons for Stormholdt). I also think the adventuring mechanic that Maina suggested would be very...

Re: Non-warrior VS Warrior Feedback

Yeah, I would love, love, love, to see some musical skills added in to the game. I think it'd go a long way toward making bards even cooler than they are now. I'd also love seeing specialized abilities for crafters to take their abilities into the next levels of quality, or customization. Honestly, ...

Re: Non-warrior VS Warrior Feedback

One thing that I think will help is the formation of the Artisan's Guild and a more robust set of crafts available to them. Making these things guild-only will force people to choose. And within the Guild, I'd love to see classes like 'Jeweler,' 'Bladesmith', 'Tailor' et cetera, limiting access to c...

Re: Post-Level 100 Play

I like Rias's idea of different avenues to advance without requiring that they be Level 100. That DOES feel more organic to me. Great points made all around.
