A wish to decrease armor text

I tend to want to wear robes to cover up some of the lines of text from what my character wears. I'd love for some variation where all the armor ends up being "A suit of scale-blue armor" instead of a line about each as in some ice-blue wyrm-scale gloves. I don't entirely have suggestions ...

Re: Yarn and thread merged into a single resource type (thread)

With this merging, to address thread vs yarn verbiage, how would people feel about something like "A skein of white rimeveil." Or "a skein of granite-gray alpaca wool." instead of being explicitly called thread? (Reading the dictionary entry for skein: a length of thread or yarn...

Re: Yarn and thread merged into a single resource type (thread)

Yay this update. It will feel a lot less conflicting not having to choose between yarn or thread while spinning.

Re: Upcoming: Ability Trees, Skill (un)Caps, and Challenge-Based Skill Practice

I've admittedly skimmed this while mostly a zombie, but if ability trees don't feel like they limit what skill directions people go enough, an idea I contemplated was a limit of how many skills can go up to cap. Arbitrary core choice number of skills that can hit that max, 5, 7, or whatever. I'd not...

Voluntary Skill Reduction

I was contemplating looting and mixes of groups levels and was pondering for characters that are over leveled for certain areas being able to skill match mobs for more mixed group combat by matching the mobs in the area or something skill wise. Not an automatic thing, but a setting to I guess match ...

Re: Player character homes!

Neat. And uh, with the homes now available I was curious about how beds will be handled (Because I'd love it if we can swap blankets etc on them beyond however they get crafted the future.) Maybe have space on beds for extra blankets or I dunno whatever people toss on beds.

Re: Dominion Dissolution, Mistral Lake (it's staying), and also moving away from CvC focus aspirations

I like the change, while also feeling a bit aimless with it in regard to future planning after committing to the faction bit. My character is presumably banned from Mistral deservedly, but it takes the wind out of sails regarding the actions now seeing the Dominion dissolve. Oocly I'm struggling wit...

Re: Various Quality-of-Life Suggestions

It would be nice to have a countertop or table to put letters or packages on while prepping mailing (maybe instanced?) in the post office. For the moment I drop things on the floor while referencing letters as I mail things off or organize things. A writing table that specifically lets you write on ...

Re: Development state and shift of approach

Go wild, chase shinies and butterflies, have fun. Personally wouldn't mind not recognizing the state of things coming back after a break. Change is interesting, and we can have fun riding that rollercoaster together.
