Re: Mountains of branches and logs
I agree, it's gotten a little insane. I was in a group the other day and I was wondering if the tree we were working on was bugged because of the sheer unending supply of branches it was putting out. Furthermore, as there is no indicator of progress when looking at a felled tree, it is difficult to ...

All About Knives
One thing that seems a little weird to me is that bladed weapons have sharpness and condition, but condition goes first, then the blade loses its edge. I would love to see warriors gathered somewhere all pulling out their whetstones and sharpening their blades before a battle. So first, I'd like to ...

Re: More ways to trash stuff
I would tend to think the potential for abuse is low. It's a pretty common thing among all the MUDs I've played. I'd estimate between 50 and 60% of them have ability to instantly trash stuff. I don't think we'd see a bunch of characters running around and trashing other people's things, at least, no...

Re: Better Stripping (QOL)
Hmm, that could work. Though I think I'd probably have to save another outfit with the clothes on, because I'm not sure recover will work if strip wasn't the thing used to take them off. I'd have to test that.

Re: More ways to trash stuff
I have things I don't need, and I haven't thrown them away because I just keep forgetting, but if I could have just trashed on the spot, I would have done so. I don't need like 5-7 terrible spoiled meats.

More ways to trash stuff
I'd like to see a way to get rid of unwanted stuff that doesn't involve huffing it back to town and stuffing it in a bin or trash barrel. I think it would help cut down on keeping useless stuff. I think either a discard command would be nice, or add more things that can be buried.

Better Stripping (QOL)
I like that we can strip armor, or just strip to doff and drop everything we're wearing. To add to this though, I'd like to suggest the following. First, as the H&H inn rooms have wardrobes, I'd like to see the strip command be smart enough to use them when taking off clothing and / or armor, so...

Re: Farming skill improvement
This is a good point. If the goal is to foster good RP, creating more work for farmers that takes up more time is going to hinder that. Sure you could get druids to come help with growth, and you could have others working your land alongside you, but you'd still be interacting with the wider communi...

Re: Farming skill improvement
You do have the option of building a campfire on your farm to stave off the cold as you work. If you're going to be working the farm in winter, you will need to do this if you plan to spend more than a few minutes there. The fire bundles are nice for this. You can prepare them ahead of time, store t...

Crafters and sustaining the economy
Yesterday, a conversation took place regarding crafting, and things that make it difficult for crafters to do their work. An idea came to me, and in truth, it takes some inspiration from what another MUD is doing, but I still think it could work here. This is how I see the problem from my end. Craft...
